Ingredients:

  • Tilapia: 1/2kg
  • Tomato: 2
  • ¼ pineapple
  • Mint leaves
  • 5 okra
  • Bean sprouts: 100 grams
  • 1 tamarind
  • Herbs
  • Spices: salt, seasoning powder, fish sauce, chilli and garlic

How to make:

  • Wash tilapia and remove
  • Cut the fish into 3 thick fillets
  • Wash tomato, mint leaves, okra, bean sprouts and herbs
  • Cut tomatoes into wedges or slice them
  • Slice pineapple, mint leaves and okra
  • Drain the bean sprouts
  • Put tamarind into a bowl and pour the hot water into the bowl
  • Use a spoon to crush the tamarind for juice
  • Stir fry the minced garlic and shallot and add the fish fillets to partly fry
  • Pour about 2 bowls of water into the pan
  • When boiling, add all kinds of vegetables
  • Tomato and mint leaves should be put at the end because they are easy to be well done
  • Pour the tamarind juice into the pan and stir well
  • Use a mesh ladle to take the fish fillets out into a plate
  • Taste for spices and add much or less sugar as your taste

Ingredients:

  • Tilapia: 700 grams
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 onion
  • Celery, spring onion
  • Spices: salt, chilli, minced garlic, sugar, pepper powder

How to make:

  • Wash all kinds of vegetables
  • Cut tomatoes and onion into wedges
  • Cut the celery and spring onions lengthwise in 2-3cm
  • Wash the fish and rewash with white wine and dry
  • Cut the fish into thick fillets
  • Stir fry the minced garlic and add tomato wedges to partly fry with a little salt and sugar
  • Pour enough water into the sauce and add the fish fillets and cook until it is well done
  • Taste for spices
  • Add celery, spring onions and then, turn off the heat
  • Ladle the fish soup into a large bowl and sprinkle a little pepper powder and chilli slices before enjoying

  • 1 tilapia

  • Bamboo shoots
  • Wild betel leaves, knotgrass

How to make:

  • Marinate the fish with salt, minced spring onions’ white parts and minced chilli
  • Evenly rub inside and outside the fish with spices
  • Wash tomatoes and cut into wedges
  • Wash wild betel leaves and knotgrass. Finely chop them
  • Slice chilli
  • Peel garlic and mince
  • Pour cooking oil in a pan and heat it
  • Put the fish into the pan and fry
  • Stir fry minced garlic in a sauce
  • Add the bamboo slices and stir well
  • Taste for seasoning powder, salt, fish sauce, sugar and 2 spoons of rice vinegar
  • Pour the clean water into the sauce and boil it
  • After boiling, add the fried fish
  • Next, as tomato wedges and adjust the spices
  • Ladle the dish into a large bowl and eat with hot steamed rice or rice vermicelli
