  • Salmon: 4 fillets

  • 2 fresh limes

  • 1 shallot buld and ½ garlic clove

  • 2 spoons of olive oil

  • 2 spoons of finely chopped rosemary

  • 2 spoons finely chopped parsley

  • Spices: salt, fish sauce, black pepper

Steps to cook and marinate the salmon

  • Step 1: Firstly, you cut the lime in half and then, squeeze for the juice. Next, use the lime peel to cut into thin matchsticks.

  • Step 2: Peel the shallot and garlic. Then, mince them and put in a bowl. Add 2 spoons of olive oil and 3 teaspoons of lime juice and lime matchsticks in the bowl and then, stir the mixture well. The next step is add finely chopped parsley and rosemary in the bowl and stir well again.

  • Step 3: Salmon:

+ Rinse well and drain in a mesh sieve. Next, place the salmon fillets in the grill tray. Add 2 teaspoons of fish sauce, ½ teaspoon of black pepper, 1 teaspoon of salt to marinate the salmon fillet for 30 minutes. To make this step easier, you can add all spices in a small bowl ahead and stir well before pouring on the surface of the salmon.

  • Step 4: After marinating the salmon fillets, you take the mixture in the step 2 to evenly pour over the two sides of the salmon.

+ Slice a fresh lime into 6 or 7 slices and put on the salmon fillets. Then, use the plastic wrapper to cover the salmon fillets closely and put in the fridge for 20 minutes.

  • Step 5: After the marinating the salmon fillets, you take the salmon out of the fridge and remove the plastic wrapper. Then, place the salmon fillets in the grill tray and put in the oven. The temperature is 200 degree Censius for 30 minutes. When the salmon fillets are well-done, strain to the plate to decorate and enjoy.
